Dr Michael Hardacre was the 164th Mayor of Wolverhampton and was supported by his consort Lynn Plant.
The Office of Mayor is the highest honour the local authority can give bestow as he is recognised as being second only to Royalty and Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant.
