Friends of Bantock Charity Open Day

The Friends Charity with their volunteer BUGS team undertake extensive planting and maintenance using funds raised to finance:
– The upkeep of the Rose Garden
– Planting Winter and Summer bedding in the Dutch Garden
– The yearly cleaning of the Pond
– Putting up Bird and Bat boxes around the park
– Litter picking each month
– Sowing Yellow Rattle in the meadow
– Planting trees and shrubs

See how The Friends Charity contributed in the early days, purchasing fittings and furnishing for the museum and how we still play a vital part with financial support including:
– Repairing the clock
– Supplying display units for the museum shop
– Supplying recycle bins for the café courtyard
– Erecting a sundial in the Dutch Garden.
